While Film photography has long been a part of Unsplash, we’ve seen a surge in the amount of contributors experimenting with the format in these COVID times. Whether it’s going through old negatives or playing around with Polaroids — for many, our time indoors has meant more time for editing, processing, trying out new technical skills.

So from now until August 31st, let’s celebrate the world of analog on Unsplash. We’ll be sharing our favourite film photographs submitted through the Film Topic throughout the month.

How to submit to  Film in Focus

  • Head over to the Film Topic on Unsplash
  • Hit the "Submit to Film" button
  • Submit any analog photographs you've shot that meet our Submission Guidelines.
  • Your photo(s) will be reviewed as usual, but with the extra opportunity to be selected by our team to be featured in the Film Topic and a higher chance of being promoted on the homepage Editorial feed.
