I was on a personal photo walk through DC, and began taking pictures of the Supreme Court building. I noticed a lone officer standing guard, so I snapped a few photos, and then approached him to say hi, and thank him for his service. He told me that his current “job” was being assigned to the Justices of the Supreme Court, he would go wherever they were, and would ensure their safety. This specific photo struck me as he gazed at the building, with the inscription of “Equal Justice Under Law” clearly visible.
