This is a senior yearbook photo of my grandmother, Elizabeth Stocker Rowell. She was in the graduating class of 1935 from Haverhill High School in Haverhill, Massachusetts. Her nickname was “Betty”. She was Vice President of the Girl’s Athletic League. She was a member of the Gilbert and Sullivan Club, Glee Club, and Journalism Club. I love her beautiful androgyny.
