We rescued Kaili when she was only two months old. We never had that young of a dog, and it turned out to be a lot of work. In the end, it was all worth it, because she is a joy to us. For my wife and me, Kaili is our third dog, and she adds so much to our lives. I was fussing around in the backyard and she was just watching me. I did have my camera handy because the light was perfect. This is still one of my favorite photos I have taken of her.
