The famous Looshaus of 1912 which marks a new era in architecture, Modernism, leaving behind Historism but as well the Jugendstil (Art Deco) of Secession. Its sober style lead to harsh criticism: the flower baskets of the upper windows had to be added as decorative element. It was called “the house without eyebrows”. Now used as a bank and for exhibitions. Shot on the day the local lockdown came down on us. March 09, 2020, 1000 AM - a very very sad day anyway.
