My late grandmother, Elizabeth Stocker Rowell, standing on a rocky cliff at Acadia National Park in Maine, sometime around 1938 or 1939. She is holding a bottle of soda that could be Dr. Pepper. She would have been around 21 years old. The photograph was probably taken by her fiance, Ray Mattheson.
