I’ve never seen glaciers like I have in Iceland. You can walk right up to them. You can touch them. They are stripped with black from volcanic ash between the sheer deep blues that come out in the rain. It doesn’t matter how many times you go here, they are never the same. The glaciers are so volatile that every time you see them, it feels like a century must have passed. This glacier tongue was seen at the Vatnajokull National Park in Iceland and may never be seen quite like this again.
