The young woman on the right is my late grandmother, Elizabeth Stocker Rowell. The young woman on the left was her best friend, Florence Rowe. This photo was taken in 1933, when they both became official members of The First Church of Christ in Bradford, Massachusetts. They were most likely dressed for a church ceremony.
