Legal and social barriers holding back women’s empowerment in Middle East, the participation rate of women in the labor force in the region is still low. There isn’t a lack of female talent, but not enough women in the Middle East are in senior positions or business owners. Gender equality remains a global challenge, with deep-rooted gender gaps persisting across countries in all areas of social and economic life.
