Antelope, Grand Canyon

The tour groups at Antelope Canyon are a bit much. While this image entrances the user in a calming and surreal environment, the actual scene was far from that. Just around the corner of these beautiful canyon walls waits a bustling crowd of 50 tourists waiting to get their turn with the beam of light before is disappears for the day. While it does calm me down, this photo also serves as a reminder that a large part of why I love photography is not the end result, but being surrounded by serenity and trying to capture just a tiny sliver if its attitude and beauty.
