I went with a friend to watch and photograph the sunset. I took my tripod like I often do, just in case. I did get some cool sunset photos but we stayed at the top of the mountain peak talking after it got dark. Then I decided I may was well try a few long exposures. I just made the jump into a full frame and I couldn’t be more stoked. I bought a fish eye lens to for music photography and didn’t think about star photography. Turns out it’s pretty awesome. I’ll have to hunt down a real good Milky Way night when its even more prominent. But I like the natural vibe this has.
