Nina was put to sleep on May 7th. She was a little sweet and playful striped kitten. She used to be a street cat before my family took her in and you could see it, when she walked towards you, purring the moment you looked at her in the eyes, that she felt safe and loved and was so grateful for having a family to care for her. I’ve never met a more loving cat before. She was happy for the all too brief couple of months that she was at home. She would squirm away from too many cuddles or getting picked up but was stoked to be around you, at her own time, in her own pace. I miss her.
