In Hong Kong, this kind of building structure is common in HK and nicknamed 'cake building' (蛋糕樓)as the floor levels are raised much higher above street level to provide a better view for the occupants. Lippo Centre is a commercial building complex with two towers built in the 1980s. The extruding facade wall design is interesting and innovative, which makes this place a photo taking spot. The architectural design style is modernist, which makes it so outstanding among other facade buildings in the city's business district of Hong Kong.
