The "彼岸花" (Higanbana), also known as Red Spider Lily or Lycoris radiata, is a plant native to Japan. It blooms with striking red flowers during the autumn, often around the time of the equinox. These flowers are commonly found in places like cemeteries and temples, and they hold symbolic significance related to death, rebirth, and the boundary between life and death. Due to their toxic nature, it's important not to consume any part of the Higanbana plant. This striking flower also frequently appears in poetry and literature for its beauty and symbolism.
