Summer 22, Day 22 - Hoover Dam Growing up, I loved watching Megastructures on Natgeo. The episode of Hoover Dam construction was one of them. I wanted to visit this engineering wonder so badly but couldn't because I was in Nepal. Fast forward after 12 years, I finally got the opportunity to witness this engineering marvel on this date. The dam looked mammoth, and the generators were massive. It was interesting to learn that the construction was completed two years ahead of schedule. I was sad to see a lower water level in Lake Mead. I hope its water level rises soon.
