Bryce Canyon, Utah

Whenever I go to Bryce Canyon I wake up before sunrise and head to one of the overlooks to await the first bits of light as the sun comes up over the distant mountains. This shot was taken in the winter, and the temperature was about 10 degrees with the wind blowing. I have no idea how cold it really was with the wind chill, but I was about as cold as I have ever been. We had a soft sunrise and the light filtering in to cut the edges of the hoodoos was spectacular.
