The Inland Taipan is the most venomous snake in the world. According to sources in Wikipedia, it is the most venomous snake in the world, including sea snakes, and it is estimated that the venom from a single bite can kill one hundred grown men (and therefore, generally speaking, even more women or children, based on average body size). Fortunately this snake is not aggressive, and lives in a remote region of Australia where few people live.
