This was taken at the Houston Museum of Natural Science’s Cullen Hall of Gems and Minerals. I saw this huge black crystal with numerous pointy ends just poking out everywhere and thought it to be so cool how something so alien-looking are actually found in nature here on Earth. This was a close-up shot and I edited the colors a bit (originally they were black/grey) since that gave off the out-of-this-world vibe.
