time lapse photography of fire dancing

We got up at 2am to drive into the mountains to take Milky Way photos, and I put some steel wool and a lighter in my bag as an afterthought. I forgot to bring a string to attach to the wool to swing it around, so we improvised with a shoelace! I ended up loving how the shot turned out.
