Left the movie theater with my partner, and as we walked across the plaza behind the theater, I saw this build standing stark against a bright blue sky–rare for the time of year when it was shot, it’s normally very gloomy here in the late winter/early spring. It was a striking sight in color, and I knew the blue would turn a beautiful black in black & white. The structure popped bright white in the transformation, and it’s easily one of my favorite photos I’ve taken in awhile.
