On a Friday in September a school bus with me and 41 other people left my High School and headed to the Bonneville Salt Flats. After more than two hours driving we reached the “World of Speed” event. More than 50 clubs raced for new top speeds. Every other minute one of the custom built vehicles stroke past along the horizon, followed by the loud roaring of the engines propelling it. Even in this remote and hostile location an ambulance unit was present and ready to help if there were any accidents. I want to dedicate this picture to all rescue teams that do an amazing job every day.
