The horrors of war. This WW2 Russian helmet, full of bullet holes and shrapnel damage, was dug up from a battle field at Stalingrad. I find it very moving, and a confronting reminder of the reality of war. Photo taken at the Australian Armour and Artillery museum, Cairns, Australia.
